Sapot is an online application that aims to create a collaborative community of small and micro entrepreneurs. It provides a secure and transparent platform that is specially available for small business owners to raise the funds needed for their businesses, up to RM10,000.
Why RM10,000 limit?
Typically, a small business would not require capital any larger than this amount at any stage of their business - whether at the start or in growth mode.
All fundraising campaign will be vetted
Each fundraising campaign will be reviewed and approved by Sapot admin to ensure it meets the necessary criteria. Sapot will only approve campaigns that clearly indicated objective to start and/or to grow their small business. Only verified Sapot entrepreneurs are allowed to launch a fundraising campaign; and only Sapot-verified fundraising campaigns can be launched for crowdfunding.
Access to funding assistance
Small business owners can fundraise a portion of their capital via the platform.
Access to like-minded small business owners for collaboration
Access to your peers for opportunities to collaborate on a project or help each other out with any issues faced in running a business.
Knowledge sharing
Knoledgeable Sapot community members can share knowledge targeted to small businesses e.g. managing your cashflow, tips and tricks to build a good credit rating etc, tips and tricks to start a profitable baking business, legal rights of a business owner etc.
Small business exchange
Exchange goods, services, space or anything that can help cross-value add among the small business community.
